#SahabatSensus from Matana University is ready #To take notes on Indonesia

"The support of the Matana University census friend in the 2020 Population Census is not merely support for BPS, but support for this nation to jointly record Indonesia"

This was conveyed by the Vice Chancellor IV for Research, Institutional Relations, and Prof. Matana University Library. Ir. Ika Bali, M.Eng., Ph.D in the Coordination Meeting and Socialization in the Framework of Cooperation Activities of Matana University and Student Involvement in the 2020 Population Census (SP2020) on the campus of Matana University Paramount Skyline Tower, Gading Serpong District Kelapa Dua District Tangerang District (Tangerang District 11/03). This activity is a provision of more detailed and in-depth knowledge about SP2020 to #SahabatSensus which consists of 20 lecturers and 125 students of Matana University.

Matana University is one of 44 universities in Indonesia that are members of the Statistics Higher Education Forum (Forstat), which is a university that manages departments, departments, or statistical study programs or those which are allied. In addition to Forstat, the involvement of students who are members of the Indonesian Statistics Students Association (IHMSI) also needs to be maximized through the Friends of the Census program.

"Through #SahabatSensus, we hope that information about the importance of SP2020 can be conveyed to the public, besides hoaks news about data and about the Population Census circulating in social media lately it can also be denied by #SahabatSensus using current communication channels. "So, SP2020 will be successful," Ridwan Hidayat, Head of Administration at BPS in Banten Province, in his opening speech.

The series of activities ended with the practice of filling in the Population Census directly online or currently popular with the term "Ngibar" (ngisi together). Matana University students welcomed this activity, this collaboration was the first time carried out between BPS Banten Province with Matana University. "I am very happy to take part in this activity, hopefully the spirit of the census friend can continue to ignite for the success of the Population Census," said Julian Salomo, a census friend from the Department of Business Statistics, Matana University. #humasnews
