The development of technology requires humans to continue to develop
themselves, so as not to be left behind by the fast cycles of the times along
with changes in all aspects of life. No exception changes in statistics.
Increasingly developing science makes methods and types of statistical data
analysis continue to improve, to produce data of ever-increasing quality. The
use of statistical data in various lines of life is increasingly being
recognized by many circles. The ease of obtaining, processing, disseminating
and then analyzing data, especially in Indonesia, is strengthened by the
Presidential Decree No.39 of 2019 on SDI (One Indonesian Data).
The Statistics
of Banten Province as a supervisory agency for statistical activities in Banten
Province held Sectoral Statistical Capacity Building 2020 from 18 to 20
November 2020. The activity was carried out online using the Zoom Meeting (ZM)
application and was attended by 2 representatives from the Regional
Organization and Apparatus (OPD) of Banten Province, 8 representatives from the
Regency and Municipality Office of Communication and Informatics in Banten
Province and 8 participants from Statistics of Regency and Municipality in
Banten Province. This activity was support from BPS in the implementation of
Sectoral Statistics by the Regional Government.
Ir. Adhi
Wiriana, M.Si, head of Statistics of Banten Province, gave material on One
Indonesian Data. According to Adhi, Statistics of Banten Province always opens
space for OPDs to jointly create One Data Indonesia, especially in Banten
Province. Another speaker who provided knowledge related to concepts, needs and
forms of sectoral statistical data was Enang Sumarna, S.Si, Statistician of Statistics
of Banten Province. Meanwhile, the material regarding implementation,
implementation techniques and evaluation of sectoral statistical results was
delivered by Canggih Hostika Fajarwati, S.Si, staff of the Dissemination and Statistical
Services.
"Capacity
Building activities are expected to be able to open new horizons and enthusiasm
for synchronizing and presenting data from various sources, especially OPD, so
that transparency and easy access to data, especially regional sectoral
statistics, can be enjoyed by the wider community," concluded Adhi in his
