Implementation of Micro and Small Industry Survey (IMK) of Banten Province, First Quarter 2025

On April 9-15, 2025, a complete data collection (enumeration) of household business samples for the Micro and Small Industry Survey (IMK) for Quarter I 2025 was carried out in all districts/cities throughout Banten Province. A total of 849 households in Banten Province were the enumeration samples each quarter.

Some of the variables asked by officers to respondents of the IMK Survey include: business identity, industry classification (micro/small), nature of business (seasonal/non-seasonal), type and name of goods produced, volume of goods produced quarterly, rupiah value of goods produced quarterly, rupiah value of quarterly expenditures, and number of quarterly workers (workers and business owners).

Furthermore, the data collected from the IMK Survey is processed and presented in aggregate (not individual data) in the form of a report on the calculation of the micro and small-scale processing/manufacturing industry production index. This data will later be used as the basis for calculating the economic performance of the processing industry sector according to the two-digit Standard Classification of Industrial Business Fields (KBLI).
