Abstract

After the previous two months in a row general price decline, in March 2015 the price of goods / services in Banten basic needs of society in general has increased. This is evident from the increased number of the Consumer Price Index (CPI), which amounted to 122.91 in February 2015 to 123.35 in March 2015, or a change in the index (inflation) of 0.36 percent.
Inflation occurs because of the increase in the index processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.53 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel rose 0.08 percent; health group gained 1.98 percent; education, recreation and sport rose 0.08 percent and transport, communication and financial services rose 1:04 percent. Meanwhile in other expenditure group index decline is on foodstuffs fell -0.22 percent; and clothing fell 0.19 percent.
