Abstract

Fixed Figures (ATAP) of paddy production in Banten Province in 2014 amounted to 2,045 million tons of dry unhusked rice (GKG) decreased by 37.72 thousand tons, down by 1.81 percent when compared to the production in 2013. The decline in paddy production in 2014 caused by decline in harvested area and productivity of wetland paddy and dryland paddy.

First Forecast Figures 2015 (ARAM I / 2015) estimated paddy production will increase by 129.39 thousand tons or 6.32 percent when compared to 2014, from 2.045 million tons to 2.175 million tons of GKG. The increase of paddy production in 2015 was due to an increase in paddy harvested area forecast of 1.67 percent and an increase in productivity of paddy by 2.11 per cent which is the impact of the increasing paddy production program at special effort program.
