Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) October 2017 of 101.01 Or Increase 0.32 Percent

·         NTP Banten October 2017 amounted to 101.01 or up 0.32 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. Increase in NTP because the rate of increase in the Price Index Received Farmers (It) is still faster than the rate of increase in the Paid Price Index of Farmers (Ib). 

·         In October 2017 there was inflation in rural areas in Banten Province of 0.96 percent mainly due to the inflation of housing groups by 1.76 percent. 

·         Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Banten in October 2017 was 106.73 or up 0.69 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.

·         The average price of paddy at farmer level in October compared to the situation in September for dry grain harvest (GKP) increased by 4.33 percent and for rice outside the quality rose by 14.41 percent. 

·         Average price of grain in October 2017 at farmer level for GKP quality Rp. 4,874 per kg, - and low quality Rp. 4,500, - per kg. 

·         The lowest price of grain at the farm level is Rp. 4,300, - per kg for the quality of GKP with ciherang varieties and the highest price at the farm level of Rp. 6.000, - per kg for GKP quality with Ciherang varieties. 

·         The nominal wage of farm laborers in October 2017 compared to peasants' wages in September 2017 increased by 0.50 percent or up from Rp. 48.910, - per day to Rp. 49.155, - per day. In real terms *) decreased 0.46 percent ie down from Rp. 37,273, - per day to Rp. 37.106- per day.
