October 2017 Banten Exports Up 6.23 Percent To US $ 945.64 Million; Imports Rise 36.41 Percent to US $ 1,122.27 Million

·         The export value of Banten in October 2017 rose 6.23 percent compared to September 2017 exports to US $ 945.64 million.

·         Non-oil / gas exports in October 2017 rose 6.06 percent compared to September 2017 to US $ 935.85 million.

·         Oil and gas exports in October 2017 rose 25.54 percent from the previous month to US $ 9.79 million.

·         The largest non-oil export value in October 2017 came from the footwear category (HS 64) which reached US $ 226.77 million.

·         The largest non-oil export destination in October 2017 is the United States with an export value of US $ 153.67 million.

·         Non-oil exports in October 2017 increased in value across all sectors.

·         The import value of Banten in October 2017 rose 36.41 percent compared to September 2017, to US $ 1,122.27 million.

·         Non-oil / gas imports in October 2017 increased 49.89 percent from US $ 553.01 million to US $ 828.92 million

·         Oil and gas imports in October 2017 rose by 8.77 percent to US $ 293.35 million.

·         The largest non-oil / gas import value in October 2017 came from organic chemicals (HS 29) which reached US $ 267.12 million.

·         The largest supplier of non-oil / gas imports in October 2017 was Brazil with an import value of US $ 155.88 million.

·         The value of imports by category of use of goods in October 2017 increased in raw materials / auxiliaries coupled with a decline in consumer goods and capital goods.
