Abstract

Human development in Banten continues to progress, marked by the ever-increasing Human Development Index (HDI). In 2017, HDI Banten has reached 71.42, or an increase of 0.46 points compared to last year which amounted to 70.96.
Banten human development progress in 2017 experienced a slowdown. Signed by the growth of HDI reaching 0.65 percent, lower than the growth in 2016 which reached 0.98 percent.
By 2017, the human development status in Banten is at the "High" level or category. The status is still the same as in 2016.
