Abstract

The number of people working in February 2018 was 5.62 million people, up about 108 thousand workers compared to February 2017.
    In the same period, there was an increase in the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) from 7.75 percent to 7.77 percent.
    TPT junior high school graduates occupy the highest position compared to other education levels of 12.02 percent in February 2018.
    The most employed business fields in Banten are industry and trade sectors, 21.49 percent and 19.35 percent respectively. Based on employment status, most of the working population in Banten is employed (2.93 million people ). The number of formal workers in Banten is higher than that of informal workers. The percentage of formal workers decreased slightly from 55.54 percent in February 2017 to 55.25 percent in February 2018.
