Banten Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) Quarter II-2018 is 128.34 (consumer economic conditions increase)

·         Banten Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) in Quarter II-2018 amounted to 128.34, meaning that consumer economic conditions increased or better than the previous quarter. The level of trust or optimism of its consumers also increased compared to Quarter I-2018 (ITK of 109.70). 

·         The improvement in consumer economic conditions in the Second Quarter-2018 was driven by improvements in all of the forming variables, namely rising household income, low influence of inflation on consumption levels and increased consumption of foodstuffs, processed food in restaurants / restaurants and not food. 

·         Banten Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) in Quarter III-2018 is estimated at 105.79. Means, consumer economic conditions in the coming quarter are expected to increase. However, the level of consumer optimism is expected to decline compared to Quarter II-2018 (ITK of 128.34). 

·         Improvement in the economic conditions of consumers in the third quarter of 2018 is expected to occur due to an increase in household income, which is reinforced by the increase in plans to purchase durable goods, recreation and parties / celebrations by consumers.
