Abstract

Banten's NTP in August 2018 amounted to 98.28, an increase of 1.69 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Farmer Accepted Price Index (It) and a decrease in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
In August 2018 there was deflation in rural areas in Banten Province by 0.13 percent mainly due to deflation in the foodstuffs group by 0.67 percent.
Banten Agricultural Business Exchange (NTUP) August 2018 amounted to 105.25 or increased 1.44 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
The average price of unhulled rice at the farmer level in August compared to July's condition for unhusked unhulled rice (GKG) increased by 1.46 percent, the Dry Grain Harvest (GKP) increased by 14.84 percent and for Grain outside the quality increased by 2, 25 percent
Average grain prices in August 2018 at the Farmer level for MPD quality Rp.4,971, GKP Rp.4,765, - per kg, - and low quality Rp.3,860- per kg.
The lowest grain price at the farmer level is Rp. 3,200, - per kg for low quality with ciherang variety and the highest price at the farm level is Rp. 5,400 per kg for MPD quality with Ciherang variety.
The nominal wage of farm laborers in August 2018 compared to the wages of farm laborers in July 2018 has increased by 0.30 percent or up from Rp. 60,054, - per day to Rp. 60,234, - per day. In real terms *) it has increased by 0.43 percent which is up from Rp.42,955 per day to Rp.43,141 per day.
