Abstract

• Compared to NTP the previous month. The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Farmer Accepted Price Index (It) and a decrease in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).

• In September 2018 deflation occurred in rural areas in Banten Province by 0.23 percent mainly due to deflation in the foodstuffs group by 0.37 percent.

• Banten's September 20008 Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) was 105.74 or up 0.46 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.

• The average price of unhulled rice at the farm level in September compared to August's condition for unhulled paddy (GKG) increased by 1.46 percent, the Dry Grain (GKP) increased by 14.84 percent and for Grain outside the quality increased by 2, 25 percent.

• Average price of grain in September 2018 at the Farmer level for GKG quality of Rp. 5,042, GKP Rp. 4,875 per kg, and low quality Rp. 3,900 per kg.

• The lowest grain price at the farm level is Rp. 3,900 per kg for low quality with ciherang variety and the highest price at the farm level is Rp. 5,300 per kg for MPD quality with Ciherang variety.

• The nominal wage of farm laborers in September 2018 compared to the wages of agricultural laborers in August 2018 has increased by 0.76 percent, up from Rp. 60,234, - per day to Rp. 60,692, - per day. In real terms *) there was an increase of 1.07 percent, which rose from Rp.43,141, - per day to Rp.43,601- per day.
