Oktober 2018 Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of 99.83 or up 0.57 percent

Abstract

Banten NTP October 2018 amounted to 99.83, up 0.57 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the rate of increase in the Farmer Received Price Index (It) faster than the rate of increase in the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib).

In October 2018 inflation occurred in rural areas in Banten Province by 0.31 percent mainly due to inflation in the transportation and communication group by 1.07 percent.

Banten Agricultural Business Exchange (NTUP) in October 2018 was 106.43 or up 0.66 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.

The average grain price at the farm level in October compared to September for Dry Grain (MPD) increased by 1.46 percent, Dry Grain Harvest (GKP) increased by 14.84 percent and for Grain outside quality rose by 2.25 percent.

The average grain price in October 2018 at the Farmer level for quality MPD of Rp.5,100, GKP

The nominal wage of farm workers in October 2018 compared to the wages of agricultural laborers in September 2018 has increased by 0.06 percent or up from Rp. 60,692, - per day to Rp. 60,728, - per day. In real terms *) it decreased by 0.32 percent which was down from Rp. 43,601, - per day to Rp.43,461 - per day.
