Abstract

Banten NTP in August 2019 amounted to 100.55, up 1.29 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in FTT is due to the increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) is greater than the increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib)
In August 2019 there was rural inflation in Banten Province of 0.58 percent which occurred in all expenditure groups with successive increases starting from the largest increases in the foodstuff, processed foods, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco, clothing, housing, education, recreation and sports, health, and transportation and communication.
Agriculture Exchange Rate (NTUP) Banten in August 2019 amounted to 107.23, up 1.53 percent compared to NTUP the previous month. • The average grain price at the farm level in August compared to July for the Dry Grain (GKG) increased 11.25 percent while the Dry Grain (GKP) increased by 12.47 percent.
The average grain price in August 2019 at the Farmer level for the quality of MPD Rp. 5,029 and GKP Rp. 4,552, - per kg.
The lowest grain price at the farm level is Rp. 4,000 per kg for low quality with Inpari 32 variety and the highest price at the farm level is Rp 5,100 per kg for MPD quality with Ciherang variety.
The nominal wage of farm laborers in August 2019 compared to July 2019 has increased by 0.23 percent, up from Rp. 63,722 per day to Rp. 63,871 per day, but in real terms *) decreased by 0.35 percent, down from Rp. 44,442, - per day to Rp. 44,288 per day.
