Abstract

The number of people employed in August 2019 amounted to 5.56 million people, an increase of around 2 30 thousand workers when compared to the situation in August 2018

In the same period there was also a decline in the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) from 8.52 percent to 8 11 percent

TPT graduates of SM K still occupy the highest position compared to other levels of education at 1 3.03 percent in August 2019

The most employment sectors absorbing labor in Banten are the industrial sector and the trade sector, respectively 24 09 percent and 20.91 percent

Based on employment status, most of the population working in Banten are workers / employees (3.12 million people). The number of formal workers in Banten is higher than informal workers. The percentage of formal workers is 58.74 percent in August 2019
