Abstract

Banten FTT in May 2020 was 101.45, down 2.09 percent compared to FTT the previous month. The decline in NTP was due to a decrease in the Farmers Received Price Index (It) which was higher than the decline in the Farmers Paid Price Index (Ib). In May 2020 there was a rural deflation in Banten Province of 0.34 percent. Of the eleven expenditure groups, deflation occurred in two expenditure groups, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group and the Equipment, Equipment and Routine Maintenance Group, While the Personal Care and Other Services Group, the Transportation Group, the Clothing and Footwear Group, the Housing Group, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel, and the Health Group experienced inflation, the rest remained

The Agriculture Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Banten in May 2020 was 101.06 or decreased 2.64 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.

The average grain price at the farm level in May compared to April for the Dry Grain (GKG) decreased 18.55 percent, Dry Paddy Grain (GKP) increased by 0.61 percent while low quality Paddy decreased 14, 88 percent.

The average grain price in May 2020 at the Farmer level for the quality of MPD Rp. 4,500, GKP Rp. 4,005 per kg and low quality Rp. 3,556. The lowest price of Rp. 3,300 for Low quality Ciherang varieties and the highest price at the farm level is Rp 5,000 for GKG Ciherang variety

The nominal wage of farm laborers in May 2020 increased compared to April 2020, which was Rp. 65,314, - per day, and in real terms *) also increased by 0.65 percent, up from Rp.60,888 per day to Rp. 61,286 per day.
