September 2020 NTP for Banten was 101.97, an increase of 0.76 percent compared to the NTP in the previous month. The increase in NTP is due to the increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) is higher than the increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib)

In September 2020 there was rural deflation in Banten Province of -0.04 percent. Deflation occurred in two expenditure groups, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group and the Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel Group, while the Equipment, Appliances and Household Routine Maintenance Group, the Personal Care and Other Services Group, the Transportation Group, the Food Supply Group And Beverages / Restaurant, Clothing and Footwear Group, Information, Communication, and Financial Services Group and Health Group experienced inflation. The average price of unhulled rice at the farmer level in September for Milled Dried Unhulled (GKG) increased 2.86 percent, Harvested Dried Grain (GKP) increased by 0.87 percent, while low quality unhulled rice decreased by 0.97 percent.

The average price of grain in September 2020 at the Farmers level for the quality of GKG is Rp. 4,716, GKP Rp. 4.365, - per kg and low quality Rp. 3,798, -. The lowest price is Rp. 3,100, - for low quality Ciherang varieties and the highest price at the farmer level of Rp. 5,200, - for the quality of GKG of the Mekongga variety
