Abstract

Banten NTP in March 2021 amounted to 99.69, down 1.22 percent from the previous month's NTP. This is because the decrease in the Farmers 'Paid Price Index (I) by 1.17 percent is lower than the increase in the Farmers' Paid Price Index (Ib) of 0.06 percent.

In March 2021, rural inflation in Banten Province was recorded at 0.06 percent. Inflation occurred in eight expenditure groups, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group, the Health Group, the Transportation Group, the Recreation Group, Sports and Culture, the Food and Beverage / Restaurant Supply Group, the Personal Care and Other Services Group, while the Clothing and Footwear Group, The Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel Group, the Equipment, Equipment and Routine Household Group, the Information, Communication and Financial Services Group experienced deflation and the education group did not experience a change in index. The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in Banten in March 2021 was 99.26 or decreased by 1.12 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.

The average price of unhulled rice at the farmer level in March 2021 decreased for milled dry unhulled rice (GKG) by 6.76 percent and harvested dry unhulled (GKP) by 10.36 percent.

The average price of unhulled rice in March 2021 at the farm level for GKG quality is Rp. 4,522, -, GKP Rp. 3.956, - and Low Quality Rp. 4.105- per Kg. For the quality of GKG, the Ciherang and Inpari varieties, the lowest price is Rp. 4,200 and the highest price of Rp. 4,900, - with the same IR variety.

The nominal wage for a farm worker in March 2021 is Rp. 66,358 per day, up 0.12 percent from the previous month, in real terms an increase of 0.06 percent, from Rp. 60,721, - up to Rp. 60,756, - per day.
