Abstract

Banten's total exports in May 2021 fell 19.76 percent compared to April 2021 to US$939.31 million.
Non-oil and gas exports in May 2021 decreased by 19.61 percent to US$939.07 million compared to the previous month.
The largest non-oil and gas export value in May 2021 came from the footwear category (HS 64), which reached US$145.33 million.
The largest non-oil and gas export destination country in May 2021 is the United States with an export value of US $ 163.85 million.
Non-oil and gas exports in May 2021 experienced a decline in value in the agricultural and industrial goods categories, while in the mining and other categories there was an increase in export values.
Banten's total imports in May 2021 fell 7.96 percent compared to April 2021 to US$1,152.45 million.
Non-oil and gas imports in May 2021 fell 15.69 percent to US$669.45 million compared to the previous month.
Oil and gas imports in May 2021 increased 5.45 percent to US$483.00 million compared to April 2021.
The largest non-oil and gas import value in May 2021 came from the organic chemical goods category (HS 29) which reached US$229.06 million.
The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imported goods in May 2021 was Australia with an import value of US$100.70 million.
The value of imports by category of use of goods in May 2021 decreased in value in the raw/auxiliary materials and capital goods categories, while in the consumption goods category there was an increase in the value of imports.
