Abstract

  • The export value of Banten in July 2021 fell 4.44 percent compared to June 2021, from the previous US$1,169.65 million to US$1,117.66 million.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in July 2021 decreased by 4.43 percent to US$1,117.49 million compared to the previous month.
  • The largest non-oil and gas export value in July 2021 came from the footwear category (HS 64), which reached US$211.44 million.
  • The largest non-oil and gas export destination country in July 2021 is the United States with an export value of US$176.22 million.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in July 2021 experienced a decline in the agricultural sector, industrial sector, and mining and other sectors compared to the previous month.
  • The highest export value of Banten in July 2021 was through Tanjung Priok Port, which reached US$867.26 million.
  • Banten's import value in July 2021 rose 5.44 percent compared to the previous month, from US$1,259.65 million to US$1,328.18 million.
  • Oil and gas imports in July 2021 rose 43.80 percent from US$380.62 million in the previous month to US$547.35 million. On the other hand, for non-oil and gas commodities, the import value decreased by 11.17 percent to US$780.83 million, compared to the previous month, which was US$879.03 million.
  • The largest non-oil and gas import value in July 2021 came from the organic chemical group (HS 29) which reached US$217.37 million.
  • The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imported goods in July 2021 was India with an import value of US$159.07 million.
  • The value of imports according to the class of goods used in July 2021 compared to the previous month experienced an increase in the raw/auxiliary materials and consumption goods category, while the capital goods category experienced a decrease in the value of imports.
  • Judging from the port of unloading, the largest import value for July 2021 came from Merak Port which reached US$631.82 million.
