Abstract

Banten's NTP in August 2021 was 96.65, an increase of 0.81 percent from the NTP of the previous month. This was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 0.76 percent and a decrease in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.05 percent.

In August 2021, there will be a rural deflation in Banten Province of 0.11 percent. Deflation occurred in one expenditure group, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group. Meanwhile, inflation occurred in eight expenditure groups, namely: the Recreation, Sports and Culture Group; Health Group; Household Equipment, Equipment and Routine Maintenance Group; Food and Beverage Provision/Restaurant Group; Clothing and Footwear Group, Personal Care and other Services Group; Information, Communication and Financial Services Group; and the Transport Group. While the other two expenditure groups did not experience significant changes.

The Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in August 2021 was 96.48, up 0.64 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.

The average price of grain at the farm level in August 2021 has increased for Milled Dry Unhusked (GKG) by 3.59 percent, Harvested Dry Unhulled (GKP) by 3.34 percent, and for Low Quality Unhusked by 6.04 percent .

The average price of grain in August 2021 at the farmer level with GKG quality is Rp. 4.470,- , GKP Rp. 4.143,- and Low Quality Rp. 3.400,- per Kg. For the quality of GKG, the lowest price is Rp. 4,300 on the Ciherang variety and the highest price of Rp. 5.000,- with the same variety.

The nominal wage of farm laborers in August 2021 is Rp. 66,758,- per day, up 0.16 percent from the previous month. Meanwhile, in real terms, it also increased by 0.27 percent, from Rp. 60,453,- to Rp. 60,615,- per day.
