Farmer's Term of Trade (FTT) January 2022 was 100.89, increase 1.62 percent from the previous month

Abstract

Banten's FTT in January 2022 was 100.89, an increase of 1.62 percent from the FTT of the previous month. This is due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 2.36 percent and an increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.74 percent.
In January 2022, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.84 percent. The increase in the Household Consumption Index occurred in eight expenditure groups, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group; Provision of Food and Beverages/Restaurants; Health; Household Equipment, Equipment and Routine Maintenance; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel; Clothing and Footwear; Personal Care and Other Services; Recreation, Sports and Culture. Meanwhile, other expenditure groups, namely the Information, Communication and Financial Services Group experienced deflation and the other two groups did not experience significant changes.
The Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Term of Trade in January 2022 was 101.35, increase 1.88 percent compared with December 2021.
The price of grain at the farm level in January 2022 experienced an increase in the quality of milled dry grain by 1.96 percent. Meanwhile, 2 other qualities experienced a decline, namely Dry Harvest Grain (GKP) by 0.04 percent and Low Quality Grain by 3.9 percent.
The average price of grain in January 2022 at the farmer level with GKG quality is Rp. 4.792,-, GKP Rp. 4.263,- and Low Quality Rp. 3.700,- per Kg. For the quality of GKG, the highest price is Rp. 5.050,- on the IR.64 variety and the lowest price is Rp. 4.500,- on the Ciherang variety.
The nominal wage of farm laborers in January 2022 is Rp. 66,864,- per day, up 0.03 percent from the previous month. Meanwhile, in real terms, it decreased by 0.81 percent, from Rp. 60,149,- to Rp. 59,662,- per day.
