Abstract

Banten's FTT in May 2022 was 99.04, a decrease of 0.48 percent from the FTT of the previous month. This is due to a decrease in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 0.12 percent and an increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.36 percent.
In May 2022, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.43 percent. The increase in the Household Consumption Index occurred in seven expenditure groups, namely Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision; Food, Beverages and Tobacco; Transportation; Health; Personal Care and Other Services; Equipment, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance; Information, Communication, and Financial Services. Two expenditure groups experienced a decline, namely clothing and footwear; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel. Meanwhile, other expenditure groups did not experience significant changes.
The Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in May 2022 was 99.93, down 0.30 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
The price of grain at the farm level in May 2022 experienced a decrease in the quality of milled dry rice by 0.75 percent, while the dry harvested grain (GKP) increased by 0.7 percent.
The average price of grain in May 2022 at the farmer level with GKG quality is Rp. 4,538,-, and GKP Rp. 4,153,- per Kg. For the quality of GKG, the highest price is Rp. 4,900,- for Ciherang variety and the lowest price is Rp. 4,150,- on Ciherang variety.
The nominal wage of farm laborers in May 2022 is Rp. 67,114,- per day, up 0.14 percent from the previous month. Meanwhile, in real terms, it decreased by 0.29 percent, from Rp. 59,167,- to Rp. 58,996,- per day.
