Abstract

Banten's FTT in August 2022 was 99.13, an increase of 2.27 percent from the FTT of the previous month. This is due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 1.74 percent and a decrease in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.52 percent.
In August 2022, there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.73 percent. The decline in the Household Consumption Index occurred in the expenditure group, namely Food, Beverages, and Tobacco. Meanwhile, seven expenditure groups experienced an increase, namely Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine Maintenance; Health; Personal Care and Other Services; Clothing and Footwear; Provision of Food and Beverages/Restaurants; Transportation; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel. Meanwhile, the Information, Communication and Financial Services expenditure group; Recreation, Sports and Culture; and Education did not experience significant changes.
The Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in August 2022 was 100.26, up 1.62 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
The price of grain at the farm level in August 2022 experienced a decrease in the quality of milled dry grain (GKG) by 0.79 percent, while the dry harvested grain (GKP) increased by 9.11 percent.
The average price of grain in August 2022 at the farmer level with GKG quality is Rp. 4.653,-, and GKP Rp. 4.239,- per Kg. For the quality of GKG, the highest price is Rp. 5.200,- on Ciherang variety and the lowest price is Rp. 4.150,- on the Inpari variety.
The nominal wage of farm laborers in August 2022 is Rp. 67,806,- per day, up 0.18 percent from the previous month. Meanwhile, in real terms, there was an increase of 0.92 percent, from Rp. 58,294,- to Rp. 58,828,- per day.
