Oktober 2022 inflasi Year on Year (yoy) Gabungan ketiga kota di Provinsi Banten sebesar 5,64 persen. Inflasi tertinggi terjadi di Kota Serang sebesar 7,54 persen.

Abstract

In October 2022, year on year (yoy) inflation was 5.64 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 112.70. The highest yoy inflation occurred in Serang at 7.54 percent with a CPI of 117.02. Next in Cilegon at 6.34 percent with a CPI of 115.26. The lowest inflation occurred in Tangerang at 5.17 percent with a CPI of 111.51.
Inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index of 10 expenditure groups, namely the transportation group by 18.95 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 7.53 percent; health group by 7.10 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group by 7.02 percent; personal care and other services group by 4.80 percent; group providing food and beverages/restaurants by 2.55 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 2.29 percent; education group by 0.77 percent; recreation, sports, and culture groups by 0.75 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.66 percent. Meanwhile, the information, communication and financial services group experienced a deflation of 0.22 percent
The month-to-month (mtm) inflation rate in October 2022 was -0.12 percent and the year-to-date inflation rate (ytd) in October 2022 was 4.72 percent.
