Banten's Human Development Index (IPM) in 2022 will reach 73.32. Banten's human development growth in 2022 will accelerate. Banten's human development status is at the level or category "High".

Abstract

Human development in Banten consistently continues to progress, which is marked by an increase in the Human Development Index (IPM). In 2022, Banten's HDI has reached 73.32 or an increase of 0.60 points compared to last year's 72.72.
Banten's human development in 2022 will experience an acceleration marked by HDI growth which reached 0.83 percent, higher than the 2021 growth of 0.37 percent.
In 2022, the status of human development in Banten will be at the "High" level or category. This status is still the same as in 2021.
The increase in HDI Banten occurred in all forming components. With the highest growth for the Average Old School (RLS) component, while the lowest was for the Expected Old School (HLS) component. The UHH value or achievement is 70.39 years, HLS (13.05 years), RLS (9.13 years), and Adjusted Per Capita Expenditures (12.2 million rupiah).
Banten HDI increases occurred in all districts/cities, with the highest HDI still occupied by South Tangerang City (81.95) and the lowest in Lebak Regency (64.71).
