Abstract

Banten's FTT in December 2022 was 101.37, an increase of 1.36 percent from the previous month's FTT. This was due to an increase in the price index received by farmers (It) of 2.24 percent and an increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) of 0.86 percent.

In December 2022 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 1.14 percent. Increases in the Household Consumption Index occurred in eight expenditure groups, namely Food, Beverages and Tobacco; Clothing and Footwear; Housing, Water, Electricity And Household Fuel; Personal Care And Other Services; Equipment, Equipment And Household Routine Maintenance; Transportation; Recreation, Sports and Culture; and Health. While the Information, Communication and Financial Services spending group; Education; and Provision of Food and Beverages/Restaurants did not experience significant changes.

The December 2022 Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) was 102.21, up 2.18 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.

Grain prices at the farm level in December 2022 experienced an increase in the quality of dry milled unhusked rice (GKG) by 8.63 percent, while dry harvested unhusked rice (GKP) increased by 0.16 percent.

The average price for paddy in December 2022 at the GKG quality farmer level is Rp. 5,432, - and GKP Rp. 4,562,- per Kg. For GKG quality, the highest price is Rp. 6,000 for the Inpari 32 HDB & Mekongga variety and the lowest price is Rp. 4,900, - for the Ciherang variety.

The nominal wage for farm workers in December 2022 is Rp. 68,254 per day, up 0.18 percent from the previous month. And in real terms it decreased by 0.96 percent, namely from Rp. 58,934, - to Rp. 58,366, - per day.
