Abstract

    Banten Total Births (TFR) Long Form SP2020 results of 2.01, which means that only about 2 children were born to women during their reproductive period.
  • There was a decrease in the Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) from 24 per 1,000 live births in SP2010 to 13.83 per 1,000 live births in the Long Form SP2020. Meanwhile, maternal mortality in Banten province was recorded at 127 deaths among 100,000 live births.
  • The prevalence of disability in the elderly (60 years and over) is much greater than that of children (5-17 years) and youth (16-30 years).
  • More than 90 percent of the Post Gen Z Generation to the Baby Boomer Generation can communicate in Indonesian, but only 89 percent of the Pre-Boomer Generation (77+ years) can speak Indonesian. Meanwhile, only around 50 percent use the local language in the family or neighbors/relatives. The percentage of speakers of regional languages has decreased in the younger generation.
