Abstract

Banten's NTP for January 2023 was 103.08, an increase of 1.70 percent from the month's NTP Banten's NTP for January 2023 of 103.08, an increase of 1.70 percent from the previous month's NTP. This was due to an increase in the price index received by farmers (It) of 2.44 percent and an increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) of 0.73 percent.
In January 2023 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.94 percent. Increases in the Household Consumption Index occurred in seven expenditure groups, namely Food, Beverages and Tobacco; Recreation, Sports and Culture; Health; Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine Maintenance; Clothing and Footwear; Personal Care and Other Services; Provision of Food and Beverages/Restaurants. Meanwhile, the Transportation and Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel groups experienced a decline. While the Information, Communication and Financial Services spending group; Education did not experience significant changes.
The Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for January 2023 was 104.62 or an increase of 2.36 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
Grain prices at the farm level in January 2023 experienced a decrease in the quality of dry milled unhusked rice (GKG) by 1.04 percent while harvested dry unhulled (GKP) increased by 8.01 percent.
The average price for paddy in January 2023 at the GKG quality farmer level is Rp. 5,367, - and GKP Rp. 4,927,- per Kg. For GKG quality, the highest price is Rp. 6,300,- for the Inpari 32 HDB variety and the lowest price is Rp. 4,500,- for Inpari 32 HDB, IR-64 and Ciherang varieties.
The nominal wage for farm workers in January 2023 is Rp. 68,319, - per day, up 0.10 percent from the previous month. And in real terms it decreased by 0.83 percent, namely from Rp. 58,366, - to Rp. 57,883, - per day.
