Abstract

  • Banten's FTT in March 2023 was 102.47, a decrease of 1.67 percent from the previous month's NTP. This was due to a decrease in the price index received by farmers (It) of 1.16 percent and an increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) of 0.52 percent.
  • In March 2023 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.62 percent. Increases in the Household Consumption Index occurred in eight expenditure groups, namely Food, Beverages and Tobacco; Provision of Food and Beverages/Restaurants; Personal Care And Other Services; Health; Clothing and Footwear; Recreation, Sports and Culture; Housing, Water, Electricity And Household Fuel; and equipment, tools and household routine maintenance. While the Transportation group experienced a decrease. While the Information, Communication and Financial Services spending group; Education did not experience significant changes.
  • The Banten Agriculture Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in March 2023 was 104.47, down 1.32 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
  • Grain prices at the farm level in March 2023 experienced a decline in the quality of dry milled unhusked rice (GKG) by 8.27 percent while harvested dry unhulled (GKP) decreased by 3.49 percent.
  • The average grain price for March 2023 at the farmer level for GKG quality is Rp. 5,103, - and GKP Rp. 4,671,- per Kg. For GKG quality, the highest price is Rp. 6,300,- for the Ciherang variety and the lowest price is Rp. 4,000, - for the Ciherang variety.
  • The nominal wage for farm workers in March 2023 is Rp. 68,449, - per day, up 0.16 percent from the previous month. And in real terms it decreased by 0.46 percent, namely from Rp. 57,788, - to Rp. 57,524, - per day.
