Abstract

  • was due to an increase in the price index received by farmers (It) by 0.38 percent and an increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) by 0.34 percent.
  • In May 2023 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.42 percent. Increases in the Household Consumption Index occurred in eight expenditure groups, namely Food, Beverages and Tobacco; Recreation, Sports and Culture; Housing, Water, Electricity And Household Fuel; Provision of Food and Beverages/Restaurants; Personal Care And Other Services; Equipment, Equipment And Household Routine Maintenance; Transportation; Information, Communication, and Financial Services. While the Clothing and Footwear group; and Health has declined. While the Education expenditure group did not experience significant changes.
  • The Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in May 2023 was 104.84 or an increase of 0.25 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
  • Grain prices at the farm level in May 2023 experienced an increase in the quality of dry milled unhusked rice (GKG) by 3.46 percent and harvested dry unhulled (GKP) by 6.38 percent.
  • The average grain price for May 2023 at the farmer level for GKG quality is IDR 5,463, and GKP is IDR 4,918 per Kg. For GKG quality, the highest price is Rp. 6,100,- for the Inpari32 HDB variety and the lowest price is Rp. 4,950,- for Inpari 1 and Mekongga varieties.
  • The nominal wage for farm workers in May 2023 is Rp. 68,709, - per day, up 0.19 percent from the previous month. And in real terms it decreased by 0.22 percent, namely from Rp. 57,578, - to Rp. 57,449,- per day.
