Banten Tourism Development in June 2024

·      The number of foreign tourist visits through Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Banten in June 2024 was 213,200 visits. This number increased by 5.77 percent compared to May 2024 (m-to-m) and increased by 32.33 percent compared to the same month the previous year (y-on-y).

·      Foreign tourists visiting Banten in June 2024 were dominated by foreign tourists from China (20.10 percent), Malaysia (12.59 percent), and Singapore (9.20 percent).

·      Cumulatively, foreign tourist visits from January to June 2024 have reached 1,078,720 visits, an increase of 34.89 percent compared to the same period in 2023.

·      The ROR of starred hotels in Banten in June reached 58.23 percent. This figure increased by 2.20 percentage points compared to May 2024 (m-to-m) and increased by 8.07 percentage points compared to the same month the previous year (y-on-y).

·      The RLMT of starred hotels (foreign and Indonesian guests) in Banten in June 2024 reached 1.41 days. The length of stay increased by 0.05 days compared to May 2024 (m-to-m) and decreased by 0.03 days compared to the same month in 2023 (y-on-y).
