Abstract

Banten’s economy based on Gross Domestic Regional Product (GDRP) at current prices in the second quarter of 2024 reached IDR217.11 trillion and at constant prices (2010) reached IDR132.08 trillion.
Banten’s economy in the second quarter of 2024 grew by 1.25 percent compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q). From the production side, Other Service Activities experienced the highest growth at 8.06 percent. Meanwhile on the expenditure side, General Government Final Consumption Expenditure (GGFCE) component experienced the highest growth at 9.20 percent.
Banten’s economy grew by 4.70 percent in the second quarter of 2024, compared to the second quarter in 2023 (y-on-y). From production side, Public Administration and Defence; Compulsory Social Security experienced the highest growth at 17.57 percent. Meanwhile on the expenditure side, the Nonprofit Institutions serving Households Final Consumption Expenditure (NPISHs FCE) Component experienced the highest growth at 18.07 percent.
Banten’s economy grew by 4.60 percent in the first semester of 2024, compared to the first semester in 2023 (c-to-c). From production side, Public Administration and Defence; Compulsory Social Security experienced the highest growth at 19.02 percent. Meanwhile on the expenditure side, the Total Net Export Component experienced the highest growth at 16.76 percent.
