Export and Import Development of Banten Province in Oktober 2024

A. Export Development

• Banten's export value in October 2024 increased 19.48 percent compared to the previous month, namely from US$956.99 million to US$1,143.42 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in October 2024 increased by 19.96 percent to US$1,138.04 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas export value in October 2024 came from the footwear goods category (HS 64), reaching US$105.11 million.
• The largest non-oil and gas export destination country in October 2024 is China with an export value of US$160.64 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in October 2024 will increase in almost all sectors, except for the mining and other sectors. The highest increase occurred in the agricultural sector.
• Banten's export value in October 2024 was highest through Tanjung Priok Port, reaching US$965.98 million.

B. Import Development

• Banten's import value in October 2024 increased 31.82 percent compared to the previous month, namely from US$2,974.53 million to US$3,921.00 million.
• Oil and gas imports in October 2024 rose 27.67 percent from US$462.59 million in the previous month to US$590.60 million. Likewise, for non-oil and gas commodities there was an increase in the value of imports by 32.58 percent to US$3,330.40 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imported goods in October 2024 is Singapore with an import value of US$615.55 million.
