Banten's Economic Growth in 4th Quarter 2024

Abstract

Banten's economy in 2024, calculated based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached IDR 873.63 trillion and GRDP per capita reached IDR 70.28 million or US$ 4,434.02.
Banten's economy in 2024 grew by 4.79 percent, slower growth compared to 2023 which grew by 4.81 percent. From the production side, the business sector with the highest growth was achieved by the Public Administration and Defence; Compulsory Social Security business sector at 16.73 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Non-Profit Institution Consumption Expenditure Component (LNPRT) Component experienced the highest growth of 13.82 percent.
Banten's economy in quarter IV-2024 versus quarter IV-2023 experienced growth of 5.02 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Public Administration and Defence; Compulsory Social Security business field recorded the highest growth, namely 13.65 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was owned by the Total Net Export Component amounting to 21.61 percent.
Banten's economy in Quarter IV-2024 experienced growth of 1.87 percent (q-to-q) compared to the previous quarter. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Public Administration and Defence; Compulsory Social Security business field at 9.10 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Government Consumption Component experienced the highest growth of 31.11 percent.
