Abstract

In April 2025 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Banten Province of 1.59 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.29. The highest in Lebak Regency was 1.85 percent with a CPI of 108.44.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases in 10 expenditure groups, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 1.27 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.03 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.61 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 1.60 percent; health group by 1.92 percent; information, communication and financial services group by 0.16 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 4.24 percent; education group by 1.25 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 2.01 percent; and personal care and other services group by 8.90 percent. Meanwhile, one group experienced deflation, namely the transportation group by 0.12 percent.
