Abstract

Banten's NTP in May 2025 of 107.74 decreased by 1.32 percent from the previous month's NTP. This was due to a decrease in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 1.71 percent and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.39 percent. by 0.39 percent.
In May 2025 there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.57 percent. The decline in the Household Consumption Index occurred in four expenditure groups, namely Food, Beverages and Tobacco; Personal Care and Other Services; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel; and Transportation. While three expenditure groups experienced an increase, namely Supplies, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance; Health; and Clothing and Footwear. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups of Information, Communication, and Financial Services; Recreation, Sports, and Culture; Education; and Provision of Food and Beverages/Restaurants did not experience significant changes.
Banten's Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in May 2025 amounted to 112.59 or decreased by 1.89 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
