Abstract

This publication contains the results or achievements of human development in the Province covering 3 (three) aspects of development consisting of health, education and economy. These three aspects are summarized in a composite index known as the Human Development Index (HDI). This publication in addition to displaying time series data about the development of human development in Banten, also presents the results of regional comparison, especially with other provinces in Java. This publication is also enriched with a brief and concise analysis of HDI and its relationship to variables of economic growth and poverty.
