Population Projection of Regency/Municipality in Banten Province 2020-2035 Result of Population Census 2020

Population projections provide an overview of the size and age structure of the population in the future which are based on certain assumptions both when following trends from the past and when policies are implemented. This publication of Regency/City Population Projections of Banten Province 2020-2035 Results of the 2020 Population Census presents population projections for the period 2020 to 2035. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) compiles projections of Indonesia's population whenever the results of the Population Census (SP) and Inter-Census Population Survey (SUPAS) ) is available.BPS is conducting a series of Population Census 2020 (SP2020) which is divided into two stages, namely population data collection using a simple questionnaire (short form) in 2020, hereinafter referred to as the 2020 Population Census (SP2020), and followed by data collection using a more detailed questionnaire (long form) through a sample census in 2022, hereinafter referred to as the 2020 Population Census Long Form (LF SP2020). Information on the number and age structure of the population from the SP2020 results as well as demographic parameters from the LF SP2020 results are used to update previously published population projections.
