In July 2024, Banten Province y-to-y inflation was 2.30%

In July 2024, Banten Province experienced y-on-y inflation of 2.30%. The main contributor to inflation was the Food, Beverages and Tobacco group with a contribution of 0.95%. The main commodities contributing to inflation in this group were Rice, Machine-made Clove Cigarettes (SKM) and Cayenne Pepper.

The second largest group contributing to inflation in July was Food and Beverage Providers/Restaurants at 0.46%, and the third group contributing to July inflation was personal care and other services at 0.31%.

In addition, in July 2024 there was also m-to-m deflation of 0.24%, with the main contributor to deflation in July being the Food, Beverages and Tobacco group with a contribution of -0.31%, with commodities contributing to deflation in this group including Tomatoes, Shallots, Red Chilies, and Chicken Eggs.
