Export and Import Development in Banten Province in July 2024

BPS-Statistics Banten Province recorded the development of Banten Exports in July 2024 of US$979.55, up 13.68 percent in June 2024 and down 4.10 percent from July 2023. The largest non-oil and gas share in July 2024 was Footwear of US$92.12 million or 9.45 percent.

Banten's Non-Oil and Gas Exports according to 10 HS 2-Digit Goods Groups in July 2024 with the 3 highest groups being Footwear of US$92.12, Plastic and plastic goods of US$86.06, and copper of US$74.07.

Banten's highest exports by destination country cumulatively from January to July 2024 were the United States of US$961.83 million, China of US$843.44 million, and Japan of US$450.00 million.

Meanwhile, Banten's imports in July 2024 reached US$3,539.29 million, up 21.22 percent from June 2024 and up 22.49 percent from July 2023. Meanwhile, the largest non-oil and gas share in July 2024 was electrical machinery/equipment at US$566.62 million. Banten's highest cumulative imports from January to July 2024 according to country of origin were China at US$3,528.26 million, Singapore at US$2,528.20 million, and Australia at US$1,718.02 million.
