BPS-Statistics Banten Province recorded an increase in the value of Banten Exports in August 2024 by 4.46 percent, reaching US$1,023.21 million compared to July 2024 which was US$979.55 million. However, when compared to August 2023, Banten Exports fell 4.51 percent to US$1,071.59 million.
The largest non-oil and gas share in Banten According to 10 HS 2-Digit Goods Groups in August 2024 were Iron and Steel (US$107.67 million), Footwear (US$104.08 million), and Plastic and plastic goods (US$89.03 million). Meanwhile, according to the destination country, Banten's largest exports in August 2024 were the United States (US$144.98 million), China (US$126.81 million) and India (US$73.19 million). Meanwhile, Banten's imports in August 2024 reached US$3,265.00 million, down 7.75 percent from July 2024 which was US$3,539.29 million, but when compared to August 2023, Banten's imports increased by 10.37 percent.
Banten's non-oil and gas imports according to 10 HS 2-Digit Groups, namely electrical machinery/equipment (US$506.16 million), jewelry/gems (US$440.98 million) and organic chemicals (US$327.31 million). Meanwhile, Banten's largest imports in August 2024 according to the destination country were China (US$574.63 million), Australia (US$405.19 million), and Singapore (US$288.73 million).
