Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) March 2018 amounted to 101.00 or Down 0.46 Percent

Abstract

NTP Banten March 2018 amounted to 101.00 or decreased 0.46 percent compared to the previous month NTP. The decrease of NTP because the rate of decline in the Price Index Received Farmers (It) is still faster than the rate of decline in the Paid Price Index of Farmers (Ib).

In March 2018 there was deflation in rural areas in Banten Province by 0.22 percent mainly due to the deflation of foodstuffs by 0.92 percent.

Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) Banten March 2018 amounted to 107.03 or down 0.56 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.

The average price of paddy at farmers' level in March compared to February for dry unhusked Rice (GKG) decreased 2.92 percent, Rice Harvesting (GKP) fell 5.92 percent and for Grain outside quality decreased by 14.04 percent .

The average price of grain in March 2018 at Farmer level for the quality of GKG Rp.5.417, GKP Rp.4.882, - per kg, - and low quality Rp.4.200, - per kg.

The lowest price of grain at the farm level is Rp.3.700, - per kg for low quality with Simalayan variety and the highest price at farmer level is Rp.6.000, - per kg for GKP quality with Ciherang variety.

The nominal wage of farm laborers in March 2018 compared to peasants' wages in February 2018 increased by 0.19 percent or up from Rp.59.044, - per day to Rp.59.156, - per day. In real terms *) rose 0.41 percent, up from Rp.43.434, - per day to Rp.43.613 per day.
