Banten Economic Quarter I 2018 Grows 5.95 Percent

Banten economy based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in quarter I-2018 reached Rp 147.55 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached Rp 105.25 trillion.
    Banten economy in quarter I-2018 grew 5.95 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, growth is driven by almost all business fields, with the highest growth achieved by the Information and Communication Business Field which grew by 8.80 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by Total Net Export Expenditure Component which grew by 17.67 percent. Banten economy in quarter I-2018 increased by 0.26 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth in Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Fields amounted to 14.74 percent. Meanwhile, expenditure side is achieved by Total Net Export Expenditure Component which grew by 49.16 percent.
    The economic structure of the Province of Java in the first quarter of 2018 was still dominated by DKI Jakarta Province which contributed to the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Java by 29.94 percent, followed by East Java Province of 24.79 percent, West Java Province 22.10 percent. Meanwhile, Banten Province contributed 6.98 percent
