Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) in May 2018 of 98.66 or Decreased by 1.03 Percent

NTP Banten May 2018 of 98.66 or down 1.03 percent compared to the previous month NTP. Decrease in NTP as the rate of increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) is still slower than the rate of increase in the Paid Price Index of Farmers (Ib).
In May 2018 there was inflation in rural areas in Banten Province of 0.61 percent mainly due to inflation in the clothing group by 1.39 percent.
Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Banten in May 2018 was 105.09 or decreased 0.78 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
The average price of paddy at farmers' level in May compared to April for dry unhusked Rice (GKG) decreased 13.96 percent, Rice Harvest (GKP) decreased by 1 percent and for Grain outside quality decreased by 1.34 percent.
The average price of grain in May 2018 at farmer level for the quality of MPD Rp.4.609, GKP Rp.4.797, - per kg, - and low quality Rp.4.078, - per kg.
The lowest price of grain at the farm level is Rp.3.700, - per kg for low quality with IR64 variety and the highest price at the farm level of Rp 5,000 per kg for the quality of GKG with Ciherang varieties.
The nominal wage of farm laborers in May 2018 compared to the April 2018 peasant wage increased by 0.12 percent or up from Rp.59.576, - per day to Rp.59.648 per day. In real terms *) decreased 0.48 percent, up from Rp.43.629, - per day to Rp43.418- per day.
