Economic growth Banten Quarter III-2018

Abstract

Banten's economy is based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) on the basis of current prices in quarter III-2018 reaching Rp 157.34 trillion and on the basis of constant prices in 2010 reaching Rp 110.18 trillion.
Banten's economy in quarter III-2018 grew 5.89 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, growth was driven by almost all business fields, with the highest growth being reached by Transportation and Warehousing Business Fields which grew 8.18 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the gross fixed capital formation (PMTB) component which grew by 7.22 percent.
Banten's economy in quarter III-2018 increased by 2.75 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was in the Construction Business Field at 8.73 percent. While in terms of expenditure, the expenditure component of total net exports was increased by 15.15 percent.
Banten's economy cumulatively from quarter I-III 2018 (c-to-c) grew 5.76 percent. In terms of production, growth was driven by all business fields except Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries which decreased by 1.72 percent. While in terms of expenditure, it was mainly driven by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) Component which grew by 8.85 percent.
The economic structure of the Provinces in Java in the third quarter of 2018 is still dominated by the DKI Jakarta Province which contributes to Java's Gross Regional Domestic Product of 29.90 percent, followed by East Java Province at 25.04 percent, West Java Province amounting to 22.07 percent. Meanwhile, Banten Province contributed 6.92 percent
