Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) August 2020 amounted to 101.20 or increased by 0.88 percent

Abstract

August 2020 NTP of 101.20, an increase of 0.88 percent over the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP is due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) has increased while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) has decreased.
In August 2020, there was rural deflation in Banten Province of -0.20 percent. Significant deflation occurred in two expenditure groups, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group and the Transportation Group, while the Clothing and Footwear Group, the Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel Group, the Equipment Group, Household Routine Equipment and Maintenance, the Group Health, the Personal Care and Other Services Group and the Recreation, Sports and Cultural Group experienced inflation, the Information, Communication and Financial Services Group, the Education Group and the Food and Beverage / Restaurant Supply Group did not experience an increase / decrease.
Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in August 2020 amounted to 100.90, an increase of 0.72 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
The average price of unhulled rice at the farm level in August compared to July conditions for Milled Dried Unhulled (GKG) increased by 4.05 percent, Harvested Dried Unhulled (GKP) increased by 4.83 percent, while low quality unhulled rice increased by 0.17 percent.
The average price of unhulled rice in August 2020 at farmer level for quality GKG is Rp. 4,585, GKP Rp. 4.328, - per kg and low quality Rp. 3,835, -. The lowest price is Rp. 3,300, - for low quality Invari varieties and the highest price at the farmer level of IDR 5,000 for the quality of Ciherang variety of GKG.
Nominal wages for agricultural laborers in August 2020 did not increase / decrease, namely Rp. 65,516, - per day, but in real terms *) increased from Rp. 61,122, - to Rp. 61,247, - per day.
