Banten's NTP in September 2021 was 97.71, an increase of 1.10 percent from the NTP of the previous month. This is due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 0.86 percent and a decrease in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.23 percent.
In September 2021, there will be a rural deflation in Banten Province of 0.32 percent. Deflation occurred in two expenditure groups, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group and the Recreation, Sports and Culture Group. Meanwhile, inflation occurred in seven expenditure groups, namely: Health Group; Clothing and Footwear Group; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel Group; Household Equipment, Equipment and Routine Maintenance Group; Personal Care Groups and other Services; Food and Beverage Provision/Restaurant Group; and the Transport Group. While the other two expenditure groups did not experience significant changes.The Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in September 2021 was 97.24, an increase of 0.79 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.The average price of grain at the farm level in September 2021 has increased for Milled Dry Unhusked (GKG) by 0.67 percent, Harvested Dry Unhulled (GKP) by 1.26 percent, and for Low Quality Unhusked by 7.84 percent.The average price of grain in September 2021 at the farmer level with GKG quality is Rp. 4.500,-, GKP Rp. 4.196,- and Low Quality Rp. 3,667,- per Kg. For the quality of GKG, the lowest price is Rp. 4,400 on Ciherang, Inpari 32, and IR 64 varieties, and the highest price was Rp. 4.700,- on the Ciherang variety.The nominal wage of farm laborers in September 2021 is Rp. 66,794, - per day, up 0.05 percent from the previous month. Meanwhile, in real terms, it also increased by 0.38 percent, from Rp. 60,615,- to Rp. 60,845,- per day.
