Abstract

EXPORT DEVELOPMENT

  • Banten's export value in September 2021 fell 7.58 percent compared to August 2021, from the previous US$1,217.36 million to US$1,125.05 million.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in September 2021 decreased 7.63 percent to US$1,123.22 million compared to the previous month.
  • The largest non-oil and gas export value in September 2021 came from the footwear category (HS 64), which reached US$194.76 million.
  • The largest non-oil and gas export destination country in September 2021 is the United States with an export value of US$204.30 million.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in September 2021 experienced an increase in the agricultural sector as well as the mining and other sectors, but the industrial sector experienced a decline compared to the previous month.
  • Banten's export value in September 2021 was highest through Tanjung Priok Port, which reached US$916.96 million.

IMPORT DEVELOPMENT

  • Banten's import value in September 2021 rose 9.25 percent compared to the previous month, from US$1,194.36 million to US$1,304.88 million.
  • Oil and gas imports in September 2021 rose 18.42 percent from US$414.11 million in the previous month to US$490.39 million. In non-oil and gas commodities, the import value increased by 4.39 percent to US$ 814.49 million, compared to the previous month, which was US$ 780.25 million.
  • The largest non-oil and gas import value in September 2021 came from the organic chemical group (HS 29) which reached US$223.11 million.
  • The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imported goods in September 2021 was Australia with an import value of US$113.23 million.
  • The value of imports according to the category of use of goods in September 2021 compared to the previous month experienced an increase in the raw/auxiliary materials and consumption goods category, but in the capital goods category, the value of imports decreased.
  • Judging from the port of unloading, the largest import value for September 2021 came from Merak Port which reached US$552.89 million.
