Abstract

Banten's NTP in April 2022 was 99.52, an increase of 0.49 percent from the NTP of the previous month. This was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 1.13 percent and an increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.64 percent.
In April 2022, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.72 percent. The increase in the Household Consumption Index occurred in nine expenditure groups, namely Transportation; Clothing And Footwear; Food, Beverages And Tobacco; Housing, Water, Electricity And Household Fuel; Personal Care And Other Services; Equipment, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance; Health; Information, Communication, and Financial Services; Provision of Food and Beverages/Restaurants. Meanwhile, other expenditure groups did not experience significant changes.
The Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in April 2022 was 100.23, up 0.80 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
The price of grain at the farm level in April 2022 decreased in the quality of milled dry unhusked rice by 4.5 percent and harvested dry rice (GKP) by 1.84 percent.
The average price of grain in April 2022 at the farmer level with GKG quality is Rp. 4,572,-, and GKP Rp. 4.124,- per Kg. For the quality of GKG, the highest price is Rp. 5.100,- on Ciherang variety and the lowest price is Rp. 4.300,- on the Ciherang variety.
The nominal wage of farm laborers in April 2022 is Rp. 67,023, - per day, up 0.11 percent from the previous month. Meanwhile, in real terms, it decreased by 0.62 percent, from Rp. 59,533,- to Rp. 59.167,- per day.
